On December 15, 2024, Her Craft had the privilege of participating in the Crystal Gateway Soup Night in Crystal City, Arlington, connecting with a wonderful community of retired individuals who embraced our mission with open hearts. The event provided a warm and inviting space to showcase our handcrafted goods, each piece representing the rich cultural heritage of Afghan artisans.
Visitors to our booth not only admired the intricate designs but also learned about the impact their purchases have in empowering Afghan girls through education, skill development, and financial support. It was inspiring to witness how these retirees, with their deep appreciation for tradition and community, enthusiastically supported our cause, helping us “Stitch the Future” for Afghan women and girls.
