On December 14, 2024, Taiba proudly participated in her first event at Wakefield High School, the Holiday Bazaar, in Arlington, VA. The event brought together students, families, and the local community to celebrate the holiday spirit while supporting small businesses and initiatives. Taiba showcased Her Craft’s beautifully handmade Afghan goods, sharing their cultural significance and the inspiring stories of the artisans behind them. Attendees were captivated by the craftsmanship and the mission of empowering Afghan girls through education and skill development. Taiba’s enthusiasm and dedication shone through, making her first event a meaningful success and reinforcing the message of “Stitching the Future” for Afghan women and girls.
